We would like to thank everyone who has written in. Our guides really appreciate your encouraging comments and it sure means a lot to them to know that they've been doing something worthwhile.

Just a quick note to let you know how much I enjoyed your walking tours. I came to Singapore to visit my daughter and had some free time while she was at work. I enjoyed 4 of your walking tours and plan to come back to complete the series. The tours were interesting and educational and a great way to meet people. I have attached pictures of the new friends. Of course, the tours would have been nothing without your expert guidance! Thank you for a wonderful time.

I have done several of the walks now (I am actually based in Singapore) and have loved them all, so would be more than happy to do anything that would help promote them

I have nothing but praise for the walks – they are very informative, very professional and loads of fun, and are a permanent feature on the itinerary for everyone who comes over to visit me! See you on the next one I do!

"We have just returned to the UK after our holiday in Singapore and I just wish to tell you how much we enjoyed the 'Battlefield Tour' .

Both Louise and I spent some years in Singapore (separately) and I thought I knew pretty much all there was to know about 1941-45. However it was a delight to spend 4 hours with Helena and absorb her knowledge (and passion) about those years. I have been on many 'tours and walks' around the world but it was refreshing to be with a guide who didn't attempt to trivialise or abbreviate historical fact on the assumption that the average tourist has a short attention span! This, allied with her deep level of knowledge and anecdotal personalisation, made it fascinating and memorable."
- Ian Hampton from UK ( The Battlefield Tour)

"...let me say that I will be telling everyone that I think Singapore Walks is absolutely the number one way for visitors to spend time in Singapore. I have never been so stimulated and entertained at a Singapore 'attraction' as I have been in your very good company. There is no better way to see Singapore..."

My dad ... was so pleased with the tour conducted by Helena and was in deep thought thinking of the weaponary etc used even after he came home. Please thank Helena for making it memorable.
- Dikusha Joseph (Battlefield Tour)

Once more let me thank you for myself and Michel for such an excellent tour. We never expected so much fascinating and enriching information. I am anxious to learn more about your country's history.
- Sheila Tirshfield ( The Last Post )

"Just a note to say that my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the walk in Singapore last Saturday. Helena was an excellent guide and her expertise and willingness to describe some of her own experiences was appreciated by all that took part."

"Myself and a friend went on a walk through Little India today with Geraldine. We really enjoyed the walk and I thought I'd write and tell you. I live in Singapore at the moment, and although I've been to Little India
quite a few times before, I still learnt alot. I'll definitely go on some more tours, and when I have visitors I'll bring them along too. It was very well done and I was surprised that you'd only been around for a few months,
because you seem so professional - well done!"

-- Laura, from Singapore (Dhobis, Saris and a Spot of Curry)

"I would like to pass on my compliments to you of the professional and friendly way Helena ran the tour. She was a mine of knowledge both about Chinatown specifically and more general Chinese culture and history. It really was a most interesting and educational tour for me and the others in the group. We bombarded Helena with so many questions that the tour went well over the scheduled time, but she answered all our inquiries comprehensively.
I have kept your brochure and will certainly do more of your tours when I am back in Singapore next year."

- Michelle, Simon, Miin & Jiim Tong from Singapore (Changi WWII)

"Keep up the good work - we love the idea of your walks - would like to do them all, I am telling everyone here about them."
-- Yvonne and Ron Sheriffs from Australia

Thank you very much for making my one day visit to Singapore so memorable. With only 24hrs available to see the sights, your walking tour of Little India (taken December 2, 2003) helped me maximize my time and gain a valuable insight into this vibrant community. I loved being able to taste the exotic Jackfruit and Indian sweets! Also, the guide was very informative and friendly....

All the best with your venture. I will definitely recommend these tours to all of my friends and family who may be heading your way for vacation.
