Just a quick note to let you know how much I enjoyed your walking tours. I came to Singapore to visit my daughter and had some free time while she was at work. I enjoyed 4 of your walking tours and plan to come back to complete the series. The tours were interesting and educational and a great way to meet people. I have attached pictures of the new friends. Of course, the tours would have been nothing without your expert guidance! Thank you for a wonderful time.

Both Louise and I spent some years in Singapore (separately) and I thought I knew pretty much all there was to know about 1941-45. However it was a delight to spend 4 hours with Helena and absorb her knowledge (and passion) about those years. I have been on many 'tours and walks' around the world but it was refreshing to be with a guide who didn't attempt to trivialise or abbreviate historical fact on the assumption that the average tourist has a short attention span! This, allied with her deep level of knowledge and anecdotal personalisation, made it fascinating and memorable."

She was a mine of knowledge both about Chinatown specifically and more general Chinese culture and history. It really was a most interesting and educational tour for me and the others in the group. Thank you very much for making my one day visit to Singapore so memorable. With only 24hrs available to see the sights, your walking tour of Little India (taken December 2, 2003) helped me maximize my time and gain a valuable insight into this vibrant community. I loved being able to taste the exotic Jackfruit and Indian sweets! Also, the guide was very informative and friendly....
