We would like to thank everyone who has written in. Our guides really appreciate your encouraging comments and it sure means a lot to them to know that they've been doing something worthwhile.
"I am amazed at the knowledge the guides bring to the tour. What is most impressive is that they all brought their personal family experiences about growing up in Singapore into the tour as well as how their lives were affected by the area we were touching.
"In short the walks rate among the best tours I have ever taken."
- Bryan and Vera, Vancouver, Canada
"I have completed the walk this morning and wish to thank your guide for making it such a memorable experience. I am returning to the UK for Christmas but will be sure to try some of the other walks on my return in the New Year. I will also recommend your tours to my other colleagues."
- Mike Green from United Kingdom
"Our guides (Loone, Helena and Savita) provided the human face of Singapore, as their passion, knowledge and professionalism brought Singapore to life for us. It was a feast for all our senses as we were treated to - visits to out-of-the-way places, tastes of herbs and fruits, untold stories and insights about Singaporean customs, religion and culture etc. Undoubtedly the guides and the experience with the Walks have strongly influenced us to want to return to Singapore and participate in the new walking tours as well as repeat the ones already taken (old favourites!)."

I want to thank Savita for the fantastic walk(Sultans of Spice™) on Thursday July 15th. I feel I gained valuable insite into the history of Singapore. The pace of the tour was great and the depth of knowledge that Savita has was evident....I have already passed on info to friends thinking of visiting Singapore, telling them they must try to join a walk.

I really enjoyed the Fort Canning Hill walking tour. I have to give special recognition to Mr. Jeyathurai tour guide. His knowledge for Singapore history and affairs is excellent.

Just a quick note to say thankyou for the walking tours of both Little India { Dhobis, Saris & a Spot of Curry} and China Town {Secrets of the Red Lantern}.
Both Marg and myself had a wonderful time during the tours, the knowledge and information that was provided by Geraldine during the tours was not only informative but was absolutely magnificent.
We can't wait to return to Singapore to partake in further tours.
It was also a great opportunity to meet a lot of other people from all different walks of life and from different countries.
Gary and Marg Bucknall from Australia
I just participated in last Friday evening's 'Secrets of the Red Lantern' tour by Geraldine. Had a great time getting to know Chinatown much better. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole 2-hr walking tour. Amazingly, I didn't feel tired at all which I thought would be the case, on my feet for 2 hrs. I am sure it was coz of the fascinating stories and the many interesting insights that Geraldine shared throughout.

I was in Singapore last week and did 3 walks with your company.I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed them and that they were all of brilliant value.Your staff were excellent in their own individual way and gave me a lot of
information/insight that I would not have gained on my own.
I went on:
The Time of Empire on Monday with Loone
Sultans of Spice on Thursday with Savita and Geraldine
Secrets of the Red Lantern with Geraldine
Please can you pass on my thanks to them. All the other walkers/visitors seemed very pleased.
Thanks and good luck for the future

My wife and I recently had a short visit to Singapore and we had the pleasure of the company of two charming and well informed ladies Helena and Geraldine. We did the Red Clogs Down the Five-foot-way and the Battlefield Tour with Helena and Dhobis, Saris and a Spot of Curry with Geraldine. We always transit through Singapore on our overseas trips and no doubt we will do so again, God willing, that is. Should we do so we will certainly look you up again and in the meantime will recommend your tours to any persons we know who are travelling to Singapore. Thank you for this experience and please thank Helena and Geraldine.

We are just writing to say that we did the China Town tour today with Helena and we thoroughly enjoyed it. She made it very interesting, adding her own personal touches and offering lots of helpful information. Thank you!
We will recommend the tours to other travellers here,

Hello again to you all. I am Phirooza Siganporia who was very fortunate to have had the chance of having met you all and experiencing Singapore through the eyes of people who are passionate and who willingly share their vast knowledge about this wonderful country which is culturally vibrant. I had a wonderful time. This was my first trip in twenty years out of my country - India.
Your site is just so - so interesting that it brought back memories of my walks with you.
Savita -congratulations on your win. I think this was a well deserved one. And Helena I think I had the most walks with you. Its was truly fascinating - and what I loved most was the feelings and passion with which you conducted the walks and the personal contributions which made the mornings worth their while. To Jeya I'd just like to say - your Sunday trip was my first exposure to the walks and this indeed paved the way for me making sure I did all of them. I regret I could not visit the Changi walk. It's a promise that if I ever do come again to Singapore this is sure going to be on the agenda. And Geraldine thank you for the wonderful time. I love the way your face lights-up when you passionately explain the unknown details.
Once again thank you very much - this is one holiday which I'll surely cherish for life. My salutations to you all who day in and day out make visits for people memorable to your country. Singapore would not have been fulfilling or exciting without having you guys to enrich it.
Phirooza from India
Thank you very much for making my one day visit to Singapore so memorable. With only 24hrs available to see the sights, your walking tour of Little India (taken December 2, 2003) helped me maximize my time and gain a valuable insight into this vibrant community. I loved being able to taste the exotic Jackfruit and Indian sweets! Also, the guide was very informative and friendly....
All the best with your venture. I will definitely recommend these tours to all of my friends and family who may be heading your way for vacation.
-- Lauren Cohen from Canada (Dhobis, Saris and a Spot of Curry)
