We would like to thank everyone who has written in. Our guides really appreciate your encouraging comments and it sure means a lot to them to know that they've been doing something worthwhile.
Just a note to thank you for the 2 walks, with Helena and Savita, and the Changi WW2 tour with Simon that I did. They were all excellent and informative and well worthwhile. Keep it up!

Just wanted to chime in with the others and say that Savita is a great guide. My sister, husband, and I enjoyed last Thursday's Sultans of Spice tour. It was tons of fun despite the late morning downpour, and while we didn't have much time in Singapore, we definitely felt the experience worth it and in fact, would have loved to do all of the other tours had we stayed longer. I have raved about the Singapore Walks since takng Helena's Secrets of the Red Lantern last year, and this latest one has confirmed our belief that you guys are the best!
Again, thanks for putting so much effort in your walks; we learned a lot and had much fun doing so. And Savita, thanks again for being so knowledgeable and good-humored during our tour!

While enjoying a brief stop-over in Singapore we took the Battlefield tour offered by your company on Wednesday afternoon. We were totally blown away by the guide's enthusiasm for his topic, his indepth knowledge and easy recall, his wonderfully personalised stories and the overall enormity of the tragedy of the attack on Singapore. I confess to my ignorance and had never understood why the Japanese should attack Pearl Harbour, not realising the simultaneous attacks on other countries.
I have emailed Lonely Planet and raved on with high praise and recommendations of your company's high standards, excellent content and superb presentation.
We also took " The Belly of the Carp " tour four weeks earlier on our way north, and in spite of there being only two of us on that trip, the guide excelled herself and gave us a full and very wonderful tour. I'm sorry I didn't get her name, but she too was excellent.
Be assured, I have already promoted your tours to other guests in the hotel where we stayed, and felt the tours were a real highlight in our wonderfully extensive trip abroad.
Thank you for providing such an excellent service.

Just to say thank you for the fun-filled Sunday (03.04.05) morning. Enjoy your tours very much, as it gives me more insight to this exotic country, more understanding about the culture and the people in Singapore.
Loone, the brochure certainly described you well with warped sense of humor, only a tourist can understand.
Anyway, I enjoyed the walk of Fort Canning Hill, with you Loone the funny guy! You certainly made a big impression on us!
You will be remembered in a big way, JOB WELL DONE!

We joined 3 walks - Chinatown , Colonial District and Little India . We enjoyed this a lot, and the quality of your guides were excellent. With their knowledge combined with humour, storytelling and a personal touch, they made these walks truly some of the highlights of our visit in Singapore. We must admit that our personal favourite was Helena, especially on the Chinatown walk.
We will recommend your walk to everyone going to Singapore - a perfect way to see the city and feel its fascinating past.

I did two walks with you and loved them both. I am a walks fan, did loads in the UK when I visited there. Your standard was just as good. Congratulations.

My husband & I were lucky enough to take 2 of your tours (Mon colonial and Tues Red Clogs ) with Helena on the 17 & 18th January. Would like to pass on our immense enjoyment of both days - so informative, fun and interesting. Wished we could have done more. Once again, best activity in Singapore - will be back for more when we pass through again.

We finally got another opprtunity to visit Singapore and took on your walking tours for the very first time. We joined Geraldine on By the Belly of the Carp (Jan 22nd) and Ying-Loone on On Forbidden Ground (23rd) and The Time of Empire (24th).
We are heritage enthusiasts and history buffs and your walking tours have really made our trip to Singapore a different one than ever! Thank you very much to Geraldine and Ying-Loone: both of you have helped us exploring the places that we never thought or visited (as well as are dying for) before! You guys have shared with us in-depth knowledge about Singapore's history in a professional, friendly, attentive, and fun way!
Hopefully, we would be able to do it again in the future and join other themes of your tours. Perhaps with more of our gang of friends...!

One of the things on our list was to drop you [Helena] a line to let you know how much we enjoyed your Battlefield Tour which you guided us through last December 1st. You gave us a really good insight into Singapore's war time history and filled in lots of gaps in our knowledge and understanding of the events that took place from 1942-1945 during the Japanese occupation. Thanks again for the Tour, it was excellent.

Ying Loone did a superb job, providing interesting details, in addition to history. His style was engaging and clear, and he was careful to make sure tour members were following and that any questions were answered. I hope this message of high praise will have some comparable effect!
- Ted Einstein (On Forbidden Ground)
Tour was very interesting and colourful. The history behind this tour was fascinating. The guide moved at a very nice pace, and entertained questions. It has been a very informative evening.
- Connie Albani (Secrets of the Red Lantern)
Just a quick word of thanks to Geraldine for a most enjoyable and informative tour this morning. I learnt more about the Muslim heritage of Singapore today than I
had done in the six years I have lived here.
