OUR GUIDES
Needless to say, our guides are fully certified by the Singapore Tourism Board. They are a rather eclectic bunch of individuals that we are certain you would absolutely adore if you met them in normal life.
We count amongst them...
Helena - a flora fauna nut and brewer of secret herbal concoctions,

Geraldine - a spicy saucy salsa dancer wannabe,
Joo Ling - an animal lover who shares her home with more creatures (family notwithstanding) than the zoo,
Pauline - the original Globetrotter (109 cities and still counting) who can ask for food in five different tongues,
Hemlata - our resident hell-rider willing to risk helmet-hair,
Winnie - an aspiring boxer, but it is her infectious laugh you need to watch out for,

Janet - an accomplished web programmer who is equally adept at painting full-colour portraits in 15 minutes flat,
Razeen - an intrepid researcher of places unmentionable, whose warped sense of humour only a tourist can stand (and the Singapore Tourism Board as well, for he snagged the 20th Tourism Awards 2005 for Tour Guiding),
Carol Joy - our classy bird-watching, curry-cooking, jewellery-making guide whose velvety voice has charmed thousands since she was 19, and
Savita - who, amongst other things (like winning the 18th Tourism Awards 2003 for Tour Guiding), once talked her way out of being stoned to death.
All our guides are specially handpicked and have been with us for yonks. Some of them include colleagues from our associate companies - history buffs from Singapore History Consultants and antiquities from The Changi Museum - dusted off and polished up just for the Walks!
They are avid devourers of history and heritage and most of all, love to share their knowledge with everyone they know (even the ones who don't pay).

We have our guides, and we have our Volunteer Walkers. These are the staff, family members, relatives and friends of The Original Singapore Walks®. They prance around the streets on weekdays/weekends/working hours/happy hours wearing that Original Singapore Walks T-shirt. They may wear the T-shirt to walk their dog, take their families out for dinner or pick up their kids from school. One might whizz past you on her roller blades, another might snooze opposite you on the MRT train. You can stop them anywhere, wake them up anytime, to ask them any question about The Original Singapore Walks® and they will be most happy to help you.
